Environment America is hiring Campaign Associates in cities across the country to work on campaigns to protect the natural world. You will educate the public, mobilize support, and build coalitions to advance our environmental agenda.

You will organize events, recruit volunteers, and engage with local communities to raise awareness and drive action on clean energy, clean air, and healthy ecosystems. As an entry-level role, it includes training, regional travel, and opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have passion for the environment and grassroots organizing.
• Top-notch writing and public speaking skills.
• An eagerness to learn and grow.
• Organizing experience, including campus or community groups.

Responsibilities

• Educate and mobilize public support through outreach.
• Build coalitions with diverse organizations and groups.
• Earn media attention via news conferences and social channels.
• Organize events and recruit volunteers and staff.
• Lobby decision makers at city and state levels.
• Research and write reports to influence policy debates.
• Recruit volunteers, interns, and paid staff for campaigns.
• Run a grassroots office in summer and meet fundraising goals.
