Google is seeking a software engineer to join the Skia Graphics team. You will contribute to delivering compelling 2D/2.5D graphics features across Chrome, Android, and other Google platforms, shaping rendering and graphics APIs, and collaborating with designers and engineers to bring visuals to life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with graphics programming languages (C++, OpenGL) or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of platform development experience (Android, Chrome on Mac/Win/Linux, Web, iOS).

Responsibilities

• Develop shaping and alignment APIs to support the latest designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional design and engineering teams to build high-quality cross-platform graphics solutions.
• Triage and resolve system issues, and use AI to accelerate engineering productivity.
