Job summary

Google’s Skia Graphics team within Chrome Graphics is seeking engineers to deliver cutting-edge 2/2.5D graphics features across Google platforms. You will work on rendering, geometry, and image drawing, contributing to “Pixels on all platforms.”

You will partner with native designers and web developers to bring graphic designs to life in Chrome, Android, Wear, Flutter, and other products, while delivering graphics for external partners and driving platform-wide graphics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more graphics programming languages (e.g., C++, OpenGL), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with platform development experience (e.g., Android, Chrome on Mac/Win/Linux, Web, iOS).

Responsibilities

• Develop shaping and alignment APIs to support the latest designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional design and engineering teams to build high-quality cross-platform graphics solutions.
• Triage and resolve system issues, and use AI to accelerate engineering productivity.
