Job summary

Genesis Diamonds is seeking a Graphic Designer & Visual Content Specialist who is creative, detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role goes beyond traditional graphic design and covers digital, print, website, social media, email, advertising, and in-store experiences.

This is a hands-on position. You should be comfortable picking up a camera, photographing jewelry, editing product images, creating graphics, editing video, and jumping into whatever

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in retail or luxury industries.
• Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent layout and typography skills, with a solid understanding of color theory.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with web design and familiarity with UX/UI principles is a plus (Shopify or similar - Magento, WooCommerce).
• Knowledge of video editing tools and motion graphics is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality marketing materials including digital and print advertisements, brochures, signage, direct mail, social media graphics, email campaigns, and in-store materials.
• Create visually compelling layouts and graphics that reflect the Genesis Diamonds luxury brand.
• Develop creative assets for seasonal promotions, special events, product launches, vendor initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain strong brand consistency across all creative materials and platforms.
• Prepare final artwork for both digital and print production.
• Photograph jewelry, watches, and other luxury products for use across the website, social media, advertising, and marketing materials.
• Retouch and edit product photography to ensure images are polished, accurate, consistent, and aligned with luxury brand standards.
• Create and maintain high-quality visual assets for website and e-commerce use.
• Assist with photography needs for special events, new products, campaigns, and store initiatives.
• Shoot and edit short-form video content for social media, website, advertising, and other digital platforms.
• Create simple motion graphics, animated content, and visual effects when needed.
• Assist with behind-the-scenes, product, lifestyle, and campaign video content.
• Collaborate with the existing content creator to develop additional visual assets and support the overall content strategy.
• Create and prepare visual assets for the Genesis Diamonds website.
• Assist with product imagery, banners, graphics, promotional content, and other website updates.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure digital content is visually consistent and engaging.
• Understand basic web design principles and how design translates across desktop and mobile platforms.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer & Visual Content Specialist who is creative, detail-oriented, hands‑on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This role goes beyond traditional graphic design. The ideal candidate will be involved in creating the visual content that represents Genesis Diamonds across digital, print, website, social media, email, advertising, and in-store experiences. We are looking for someone who can take direction, understand the vision behind a project, and execute it at a high level while also bringing thoughtful creative ideas to the table.

This is a hands-on position. You should be comfortable picking up a camera, photographing jewelry, editing product images, creating graphics, editing video, and jumping into whatever visual project the team needs.

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, onsite position based at our flagship store in Green Hills, Nashville.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design
