Job summary

Glass House Group in Long Beach is seeking a Mid-Level Graphic Designer with strong print and digital design experience to join our in-house creative team. You will own projects across packaging, print, POS, digital, social, email, and collateral, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring brand strategy to life.

Reporting to the Art Director, you will translate briefs into polished, on-brand visuals, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to evolving brand

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience (in-house or agency).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating range across print and digital design, including independently-led projects.
• Strong hand-drawn illustration skills for packaging, branding, and campaigns.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects and XD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Art Director to independently execute a wide range of graphic design projects, from concept through final production.
• Execute packaging and labeling updates with brand and supply chain teams, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Glass House Group is seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Graphic Designer with strong experience in print and digital design to join our growing in-house creative team. Reporting to the Art Director, this role takes ownership of creative projects across packaging, print, POS, digital, social, email, and collateral — partnering closely with cross-functional teams to bring brand strategy to life.

Core Job Duties

• Partner with the Art Director to independently execute a wide range of graphic design projects, from concept through final production.


• Execute packaging and labeling updates in collaboration with brand and supply chain teams, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.


• Translate creative briefs into polished, on-brand visual concepts that align with strategic business goals and resonate with consumers.


• Manage multiple concurrent projects, including quick-turnaround requests, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


• Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders and external partners, flagging risks and maintaining quality, accuracy, and efficiency.


• Proof all creative work and help establish quality-control best practices for the team.


• Monitor design and industry trends, bringing fresh ideas into brainstorming and planning sessions.


• Contribute to and help refine brand guidelines as they evolve.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills

• 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience (in-house or agency).


• Strong portfolio demonstrating range across print and digital design, including examples of independently-led projects.


• Strong hand-drawn illustration skills, with the ability to develop original artwork for packaging, branding, and campaign assets.


• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; After Effects and Adobe XD a plus.


• Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for typography, color, hierarchy, balance, and printing techniques.


• Solid understanding of production design standards, prepress, and building files to spec.


• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.


• Ability to work cross-functionally, clearly communicating timelines and needs to both creative and non-creative partners.
