Position Overview:

As a Graphic Designer at Southstone Church, you are eager to use your creative talents to support our communication efforts. You have a keen eye for design, strong communication skills, and a passion for working on meaningful projects. Your role will involve designing and creating assets for projects aligned with Southstone Church's vision: Reaching People and Building Lives. The win for this role is a consistently growing number of small groups, small group membership, and small group leaders, such that being part of a small group spiritual family is in grained in the DNA of the church.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality, visually engaging graphics and visuals for weekend service experiences, social media content, campaigns, web design, and more.
• Support ministries and campuses with creative requests, including signage, branding, and events.
• Work closely with the Communications Director, other departments, and campuses to understand project requirements and effectively translate concepts into visually appealing designs.
• Oversee the design and ordering of all print materials required for projects within Southstone Church.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality designs within established deadlines.
• Embrace feedback from team members and departments to refine and improve designs and deliverables continuously.
• Perform other duties, as needed.

Competency / Knowledge Requirements:

• Complete understanding and experience with Adobe Software Products, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as other design software.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

Education Requirement:

A Bachelor's degree, certificate, or college coursework in a related field is a plus.

Professional / Work Experience Required:

• 2+ years of experience creating and designing materials in a related field.
