Job summary

Oregon State University’s School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts (SVPDA), Graphic Design program, invites applications for fixed-term, non-tenure-track instructor positions to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2026/2027 academic year. Some appointments may be renewed or transitioned to an instructional position at the Director’s discretion.

The primary mission is undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with significant industry experience.
• Record of engaging, educating, and mentoring a diverse group of learners and promoting inclusive excellence.
• Ability to work collegially with faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses on-campus or via Ecampus.
• Contribute to course development and curriculum alignment.
• Participate in program activities and student mentoring.
