Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Grants Coordinator to support day-to-day grants administration, subcontracting, award processing, and overall review.

Responsibilities include data collection for new grant proposals and renewals, liaison with investigators, consultants, sub-contractors, and finance, plus assisting in policy updates and file management. This role may lead the Info Ed Super User duty and requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 0–1 years of related experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 0-1 years of related experience; grant guidelines and policy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and manage data for the submission of new grant proposals and non-competitive renewals.
  • Liaise among investigators, consultants, sub-contractors and the institution to facilitate the process.
  • Assist in creation, implementation or revision of department policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate subcontracts and award notices, data entry and file management.
  • Liaise between grants/contracts, IRB, finance, Info Ed and principal investigators.
  • May serve as head of Info Ed Super User for online grant submissions.
  • Assist with grants administration and budget review for complex program projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
