Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking Grants Management Consultants to help state and local government clients design, implement, and sustain grant programs across lifecycle stages. You will work at the center of federal and state funding initiatives, translating policy into executable, audit‑defensible operations.

The role emphasizes strategic influence, data‑driven modernization, and collaboration with agency leadership to deliver measurable public value. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 1+ year for a consultant or 3+ years for senior consultant experience.
• Experience in grants management for a senior consultant.
• Strong understanding of Uniform Guidance – 2 CFR 200 and Single Audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with state and local government clients to establish or enhance grants management processes across the grants lifecycle.
• Identify client needs and present potential solutions.
• Participate in client discussions and meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and leadership.
• Develop meeting agendas and talking points for discussions.
• Create high‑quality presentations to drive stakeholder discussion.
• Ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in business development activities.
• Engage in project management tasks.
• Contribute to internal and external grants management training and knowledge sharing.
