Job summary

VIA seeks a full-time Manager of Grants and Stewardship to identify, craft, and manage the grant and reporting process while supporting donor stewardship efforts.

The role requires coordinating with program staff to gather objectives, budgets, and evaluation methods, and ensuring timely grant submissions and compliant reporting. Strong writing, data management, and cross-department collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in nonprofit sector preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of grant writing and foundation relations experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify grant opportunities from foundations and funders aligned with VIA's mission.
• Prepare, write, and submit grant proposals and reports per funder requirements.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather objectives, outcomes, budgets, and evaluation methods.
• Track grant lifecycles, timelines, submissions, and reporting obligations.
• Support donor stewardship initiatives and donor acknowledgment processes.
• Assist gift processing and ensure accurate check processing procedures.
• Maintain donor and grant records in the donor database.
• Support annual campaigns and fundraising efforts.
• Develop budgets narratives and project timelines for proposals.
