Job summary

Sealaska seeks a Natural Resources Programs Coordinator to advance program goals, draft funding proposals, and track project progress with input from project managers. This hybrid role emphasizes field safety alignment and collaboration with partners to support land stewardship and regional economic growth.

The coordinator will ensure compliance with funding rules, manage risk, and coordinate with the Finance Department to monitor expenditures while supporting the organization’s Southeast Alaska

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with multiple funding sources and partners.
• Ability to interpret laws, regulations, and donor restrictions.
• Proven grant and proposal writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the department's program guidelines and multi-year plans.
• Write proposals for federal, state, philanthropic, and competitive opportunities.
• Ensure grant compliance with policies, regulations, and donor restrictions.
• Track project progress and report to funding organizations.
• Coordinate with finance to monitor grant expenditures and budgets.
