Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Grants Specialist II to serve as the Other Support reviewer for the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. You will collaborate with faculty and department administrators on Other Support reviews, evaluating all active and pending research resources tied to grant applications.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing drafts, coordinating with departments, maintaining records in SharePoint, and ensuring accuracy of Other Support data for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Clinical trials negotiation training (MAGI, etc.) desirable.
• 5 years of progressive experience in grants and contracts management.

Responsibilities

• Assists with Other Support preparation and review including preparation of drafts & edits, and formats materials related to Other Support pages.
• Communicates with the departments including follow up on review comments and answering general questions from Departments related to Other Support pages.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining records of Other Support information in the SharePoint.
• Follows up on Other Support information, including review of internal databases, updating project statuses and ensuring overall accuracy of Other Support information for each principal investigator.
• Reports to the Director of the Central Grants & Contracts Office for the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai regarding research-related activities.
