Job summary

DVMF Executive Direction in Maryland is seeking an Agency Grants Specialist I to oversee grant applications and administer funding for the Maryland Veterans Trust Fund.

The role requires five years of grant experience, proficiency with Salesforce, and strong outreach to veterans and families; you will coordinate with the Board of Trustees and the VTF Director to ensure accurate processing and timely awards.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in grant evaluation and monitoring or budget preparation, presentation and execution
• Demonstrated experience utilizing Salesforce or equivalent cloud-based grant management software
• Professional experience working directly with veterans, military service members, or their families
• Experience reviewing financial documentation for accuracy and verifying eligibility criteria
• Strong constituent services or community outreach experience

Responsibilities

• Manage grant applications through Salesforce, process veteran inquiries, and coordinate with the Board of Trustees
• Work directly with the VTF Director to administer grants and organizational funding
