Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail with complex financial data.
• Experience in bank reconciliations and general ledger knowledge.
• Strong written and oral communication, time management and organization.
• Accuracy in all phases of work and budgeting procedures.
• Knowledge of federal grant funding agencies and grant administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage grant portfolio: post-award functions, budgeting, invoicing and reporting.
• Coordinate with accounting director on compliance issues, deadlines and risks.
• Support management with strategic plans and quality assurance initiatives.
• Provide compliance guidance and training to staff to improve efficiency.
• Ensure staff adherence to internal compliance programs and regulations.
• Interface with internal/external departments and funding agencies.
• Assist with grant budgeting setup and review for compliance.
• Perform grant-related tasks in liaison with university offices.
