Job summary

School District of Philadelphia seeks an Executive Director, Federal Programs and Compliance to lead the District’s grant compliance program and ensure funds are used in accordance with all laws and agreements.

The role directs the Consolidated federal grant application process to PDE, coordinates monitoring readiness, and oversees program reviews to assure effective use of federal and local funds across schools and central offices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Seven years of full‑time, paid, professional experience in education, three of which have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity with grant management oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development, implementation, funding and execution of a comprehensive compliance plan for grant funds.
• Coordinates with Grant Fiscal Services to ensure federal program budgets and resources are available to personnel.
• Submits the Consolidated Local Educational Agency Plan and prepares for PDE monitoring visits.
• Directs programmatic compliance oversight and training for District schools and central offices.
• Represents the District to state and federal offices to secure funding and compliance.
