Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Research Administration or related field preferred.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills with knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a complex environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and corporate financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit comprehensive financial reports and award-related documents.
• Maintain salary projection spreadsheets and monitor funding and burn rates.
• Process amendments, budget continuations, and no-cost extensions as needed.
• Approve and monitor expenses per budgets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track award end dates and assist with extensions and fund utilization.
• Perform account reconciliations in Workday for assigned accounts.
• Support grant closeout and collaborate with faculty and central offices.
• Provide budgeting analyses to aid decision-making for faculty and senior management.
