Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, review, and submission of proposals to sponsors and organizations.
• Advise PIs on research administration processes and compliance.
• Monitor daily financial performance of grants and contracts to ensure MIT/sponsor policy compliance.
• Prepare reports, analyses, forecasting, and other financial information for PIs.
• Monitor internal chargebacks, payroll distribution, and certification.
• Analyze cost sharing and cost encumbrances; ensure timely close-out of grants.
