Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated technical writing abilities and research skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to prepare budgets and budget justifications for grant applications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all aspects of grant proposals including narratives, budgets and supporting documentation.
  • Provide technical assistance to Directors regarding grant management and problem resolution.
  • Submit grant applications, progress reports, budget amendments and other forms via online portals.
  • Assist with scoping and planning of anticipated grants.
  • Stay informed on federal funding issues, agency policies, and relevant tribal and federal regulations.
  • Maintain relationships with federal agency representatives and other tribes to support the Nation’s goals.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
