Job summary

The State Highway Administration (SHA) Grants Program Liaison (Administrator II) in Baltimore supports federally funded grant programs such as RTP, TA, CDS, and SB. The role involves assisting with project reviews, guiding sponsors, and ensuring compliance with program guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in administrative staff or professional work.
• Two and a half years of experience in grant administration and/or monitoring grants.
• Selective qualification necessitates specific knowledge or abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Grants Team Leader with federally funded Grant Programs (RTP, TA, CDS, SB).
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers and monitor projects for compliance with guidelines and laws.
• Review project applications to make funding recommendations to MPOs and Grants Selection Committee; maintain project information database.
• Conduct on-site inspections for oversight of project implementation; ensure projects are developed within budget and scope.
