The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County is seeking a Grants & Programs Coordinator to provide essential administrative, logistical, and data support for grantmaking, scholarships, and community engagement programs. You will process payments, coordinate cycles, and maintain records across internal systems to ensure a responsive and professional donor and nonprofit partner experience.

Working closely with the Director of Grants & Programs and the programs team, you will support scholarship

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in nonprofit administration, programs, communications, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Interest in philanthropy, nonprofit work, or community engagement preferred.
• Familiarity with basic communications tools (e.g., Word, email platforms, content management systems) a plus.

Responsabilités

• Process grants, donor advised funds, and scholarship payments.
• Coordinate scholarship application cycles, reviews, and communications.
• Maintain records across internal systems (C-Suite, GLM, SLM).
• Provide administrative and logistical support for scholarships, grants, and community initiatives.
• Support event logistics and meetings; document minutes.
• Assist with donor, applicant, student, volunteer, nonprofit partner communications and inquiries.
