Job summary

The University of Georgia in Athens seeks a Grants Professional Intern to support identifying, evaluating, and developing grant opportunities for Auxiliary Services. You will conduct prospect research, summarize funding opportunities, draft proposal sections, prepare supporting documentation, and maintain organized grant files.

You will work closely with the Grants Professional and unit partners to help ensure timely, accurate, and competitive submissions while balancing coursework.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in GA public administration, nonprofit, English/communications, business, public health, or related fields.
• Strong writing and research experience preferred.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Grant research and funding landscape scanning for opportunities.
• Draft, edit, and format proposal sections and attachments.
• Collect project data, budgets, metrics, forms, and supporting materials.
• Maintain grant trackers, calendars, and digital files; coordinate meetings.
