Job summary

Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph seeks a Grant Manager to lead a comprehensive grants program, securing funding from federal, state, foundations, and corporations.

You will oversee proposal development, contract compliance, reporting, and stewardship while coordinating with Finance and executive leadership. The role supervises a grants team and requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years in grant writing/management, including federal grants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum five years of grant writing and grants management experience.
• Demonstrated success securing and managing government, foundation, corporate, or other funders.
• Experience with federal grants and contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and pursue diverse funding opportunities aligned with agency priorities.
• Lead development, writing, coordination, and submission of grant proposals and renewals.
• Manage full grant lifecycle including budgets, compliance, reporting, and renewals.
• Collaborate with Finance, Philanthropy, and program leadership to plan budgets and track outcomes.
• Supervise staff and ensure timely grant records and reporting in CRM.
