Job summary

Arizona Commerce Authority in Phoenix, AZ is offering a part-time internship in the Grants and Opportunities team, beginning upon hire and funded through June 30, 2027. The role combines administrative tasks, research on funding opportunities, and engagement with stakeholders to advance Arizona's development finance tools.

Work 28 hours per week (three full days and one half day) onsite from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Must submit a resume and cover letter.
• Must be a current junior/senior undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at an accredited university.
• Must be able to commit to work onsite (no remote option) 28 hours per week; September 2026 through June 2027.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced skill in Excel.
• Organized, professional, and eager to learn!

Responsibilities

• Administrative work (making calls, mail-merged letters, mailings, SharePoint filing, scheduling, proofreading).
• Research on funding opportunities and summarizing development finance case examples.
• Engagement with stakeholders and partners, and assisting ACA-sponsored events.
