YMCA of the USA is seeking a Manager of Grants to oversee subgrant execution from application through closeout. You will coordinate timelines, ensure compliance, and provide technical assistance to local Ys and internal teams to support grant delivery and reporting.

The role emphasizes process improvements, data integrity in the SmartSimple portal, and collaboration across departments to advance philanthropic priorities and sustainable funding for national programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience required.
• Advanced functional skills.
• Intermediate industry knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication of subgrant opportunities, including announcements, timelines and guidance.
• Build and manage subgrant timelines with project teams and grants leadership.
• Coordinate application and review processes including eligibility, scoring and communication of outcomes.
• Manage subgrant execution processes including payments, modifications, extensions, and closeout.
• Administer and configure the Grants Portal (SmartSimple) with forms, workflows and data integrity.
• Lead applicant and grantee support with timely resolutions and guidance.
• Provide technical assistance to applicants and grantees through the process and develop tools to strengthen success.
• Monitor grant activities, deliverables and reporting for compliance and improvements.
• Analyze applications and reports to identify trends and inform process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support reporting, communications, and grantmaking operations.
