Community Health Resources is seeking a Grants Manager for a full-time, remote role limited to CT, MA, or RI residents. You will perform financial analysis, track grant assets, ensure compliance, and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree with focus in business administration or accounting preferred and five ormore years of experience that includes experience in grants/contracts: or an equivalent combination oftraining and experience.
3 or more years’ experience in mid-market organization, preferably in the not-for-profithealthcare industry. Preferred experience includes working with confidential information; coordinating orpreparing grants/contracts; experience with federal contracting and grant compliance and conflict ofinterest requirements; experience working with subcontractors; and experience with and drafting/editingpolicies, procedures, reports, and proposals. Experience using a variety of computer software programs(MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe, MS Access) to support work tasks.
Knowledge of automated accounting systems and financial report writersWell-developed financial analysis capabilitiesKnowledge of GAAP and current best accounting practicesKnowledge of Connecticut State Cost Standards and/or federal Uniform grant guidancestandards.Excellent personal computer skills, knowledge of spreadsheets and data base applicationsoftware. Advance Excel skills.Strong analytical and reasoning skills.Demonstrated ability to multi-task with a high-level of organization and prioritization combinedwith strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to problem-solve and work independently.Excellent communication skills.Proficient with project management tools to create and track timelinesProven commitment to continuous quality improvement, and proven ability to learn newskills/techniques quickly and integrate them into highly polished deliverables.
