Job summary

The DC Bar Foundation is seeking a Grants Database Manager to own and optimize the Grants Management System (GMS) and its Salesforce module, ensuring alignment with grantmaking best practices and Foundation standards. The role will drive data usage through dashboards and reports, support the Programs Team and grantees, and manage integrations with DocuSign, FormAssembly, and Tableau.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of work experience.
Minimum of four years of progressive experience handling responsibilities similar to this role.
Experience in nonprofit or foundation grantmaking is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce, data management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the Grants Management System (GMS) including vendor management and quality oversight.
Set up and maintain GMS protocols; train Programs Team and support Grantee Partners.
Lead data management, analysis, and reporting for grants; support dashboards and visualizations.
Manage third‑party integrations (DocuSign, FormAssembly, Tableau).
Provide GMS administrative support across the grant lifecycle: submissions, reviews, awards, extensions, and invoicing.
Ensure data integrity and compliance; lead data clean‑up and governance initiatives.
Stay current with Salesforce features to recommend process improvements.
