Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least five years of accounting or grants management experience, with strong recordkeeping and reporting capabilities. A NIMS certification is required within one year of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public or Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of general accounting experience or grants/contracts management.
• Experience with processing complex financial transactions and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized accounting and administrative support for city-wide grant activities.
• Represent Grants Manager as needed and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
• Prepare accurate financial reporting and maintain records in accordance with policies.
