The role involves translating strategic priorities into proposals and reports for foundations, government agencies, and other funders, while ensuring grant management and compliance with requirements across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Three or more years of professional experience in grant writing, institutional fundraising, nonprofit development, public funding, or a related field, including experience preparing or coordinating grant proposals, reports, and supporting materials for foundations, government agencies, or other institutional funders.

Responsibilities

• Translate WFYI’s priorities, programs, and impact into compelling proposals and reports for foundations, government agencies, and other institutional funders.
• Ensure grant management, timely deliverables, and compliance with funder requirements.
• Collaborate across departments to translate strategy into funder-facing materials.
