The City of Batavia seeks a Grants Administrator to secure and manage external funding for strategic initiatives, infrastructure, and community programs. You will oversee the full grant lifecycle, from opportunity research to reporting, while ensuring compliance and collaborating with city departments and external partners.

The role also maintains program designations such as Climate Smart Communities and Pro-Housing Communities to strengthen competitiveness for future funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and grant-related experience.
• Two or more years of full-time grant experience for the Bachelor's option.
• Four years of grant-related experience for the Associate's option.
• Six years of full-time grant writing/procurement/fundraising/administration experience.

Responsabilités

• Secure and manage external funding to support City initiatives, infrastructure, and community programs.
• Oversee the full grant lifecycle: researching funding opportunities, preparing applications, and ensuring compliance.
• Manage reporting and documentation and collaborate with City departments and external partners.
• Maintain program designations (e.g., Climate Smart Communities, Pro-Housing Communities) to strengthen funding competitiveness.
