Job summary

City of Seattle Parks and Recreation invites applications for a Grants Administrator to manage grant awards and reporting. You will prepare progress reports, reimbursement requests, and coordinate data for funders, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets stay on track.

Under supervision, you will track multiple grants, research funding sources, and support multidisciplinary proposals to diverse external funders while upholding equity and transparency in all grant activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, finance, economics or related field.
• Two years of professional-level experience in financial analysis, project management, grant administration, or related work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare progress reports and reimbursement requests for funders.
• Track deadlines and deliverables across multiple grants.
• Research funding criteria and identify potential grant sources.
