Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking a qualified Staff Accountant to partner with the Accounting Manager and collaborate with program leaders to guide finance procedures. You will manage grants administration, accounting, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate postings and timely reporting in alignment with Uniform Guidance and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2–3 years of nonprofit, government grants, or complex contracts experience preferred.
• Proficiency with grant accounting, cost allocations, and GAAP is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-award grant and contract activities including budget and expense analysis, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with funding agencies to resolve issues and obtain required information.
• Prepare agency-specific invoices, budgets, revisions, and detailed cost reports.
