Job summary

Ridgewater College seeks an Accounting Officer to lead fiscal management across grants, projects, and college operations. You will reconcile accounts, monitor expenditures, and prepare financial reports in accordance with GAAP, working with a range of departments and external grantors.

The role requires strong data analysis, attention to detail, and the ability to provide training on accounting processes. Monday–Friday, on-site at the Willmar campus, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• This position requires at least two years of work-related accounting experience.
• Accounting background with GAAP knowledge and accurate financial records.
• Ability to prepare reports, budgets, and spending plans.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants, projects, and agreements finances.
• Maintain chart of accounts for grant operations.
• Monitor grant expenditures and prepare reimbursements.
• Prepare invoices and reconcile allocations with SWIFT.
• Provide budgeting reports and year-end close support.
• Ensure compliance with MnSCU policies and GAAP.
