Job summary

MaineHousing seeks a Fiscal Officer to handle financial functions for state and federal grants within the Energy & Housing Services Department. You will track subgrantee budgets, prepare contracts, assist with monitoring and produce required program reports.

The role requires two years of accounting experience or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid Maine office environment. Hybrid schedule may be possible after six months.

Qualifications

• Education and two years of accounting experience or a combination of experience, training and independent study preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and reconcile Subgrantee budgets for EHS, LIHEAP, Weatherization and related programs.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly/quarterly/annual program reports.
• Process contracts and amendments; ensure timely execution and documentation.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting for sub-grantees and program compliance.
