Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration or closely related field and 2 years of responsible cost/financial analysis experience.
Strong analytical and data gathering skills; ability to prepare budgets, reports and schedules.
Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with data query/tools; ability to present data clearly.

Responsibilities

Monitor subrecipients of federal awards, learn requirements, conduct field visits and prepare reports.
Analyze departmental finances to keep management informed.
Design and manage complex data queries and interpret results for decision making.
Prepare financial reports including forecasts and ad hoc analyses.
Review and modify financial policies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain accounting records in compliance with laws, budgets, and procedures.
Develop, forecast, and track annual budgets and grant budgets.
Supervise and mentor staff; provide technical guidance.
Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure smooth financial processing.
Provide financial recommendations to agency personnel.
