Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in grant writing or nonprofit development
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong writing and research skills; grant writing experience preferred
• High interest in or existing skills in marketing; long‑term growth in this area is a plus
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines, especially grant deadlines
• Experience with CRM systems and email marketing tools a plus

Responsibilities

• Grant Writing & Development: Research, write, and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports
• Grant lifecycle management: prospecting, budgeting, submission, and post‑award reporting
• Maintain the grant calendar, pipeline, and compliance tracking
• Build and maintain relationships with foundation and grantor program officers
• Track outcomes and metrics for grant reporting requirements
• Identify and pursue new grant and funding opportunities
• Donor & Partner Engagement: Coordinate major donor cultivation and stewardship
• Help maintain accurate donor records in the CRM/database
• Communications: Assist in creating and scheduling content for marketing and communications
• Support email and social media marketing campaigns and direct mailings
• Help maintain consistent messaging and brand voice across platforms
• Support fundraising events and annual giving campaigns
