Job summary

World Concern, part of CRISTA Ministries, seeks a Director of Grant Development to lead high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports across governments, EU, UN agencies, and private partners.

You will translate program strategies into persuasive documents, collaborate with MEAL, finance, and operations, and ensure donor compliance while upholding faith-based storytelling principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international development, public policy, communications, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in grant writing and proposal development for (I)NGOs.
• Proven ability to translate program strategies and field data into persuasive narratives reflecting mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead the writing, editing, and packaging of grant proposals, concept notes, and donor communications.
• Coordinate inputs from program, MEAL, operations, and finance teams.
• Develop grant templates and strengthen country teams’ capacity for proposal writing and donor relations.
• Ensure proposals reflect faith-integrated approach and donor compliance.
• Travel to international locations may be required.
