Job summary

The Libra Foundation, based in San Francisco, seeks a Grants Associate to join its small, mission‑driven team under the Knowledge & Grants Manager. You will help streamline grantee applications and reporting, coordinate grant cycles, and support the implementation of GivingData to improve data handling and transparency.

You will work closely with the family office and accounting teams to ensure timely disbursements, prepare board materials, and contribute to a collaborative culture that centers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant administrative or data‑intensive work experience; equivalent experience considered.
• Commitment to social impact and understanding of Libra’s program priorities a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive, team‑oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary grant process contact for current grantees and assist through the workflow.
• Invite new applicants, communicate requirements, and review materials for completeness and adherence to guidelines.
• Support board docket preparations and cross‑functional coordination with the accounting team for grant disbursements.
• Assist with the implementation of the GivingData grants management system, including data transfer, testing, and reporting.
• Analyze grantmaking data and contribute to internal trainings and staff support during transitions.
• Participate in team activities and contribute to a healthy, collaborative environment.
