Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of grants, the grant application process, and rules of grants.
• Advanced knowledge of programs, program planning, public administration, and the political system as they relate to grants.
• Ability to interpret and apply grant rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Ability to research new procedures, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify sources of external funds and create proposals to secure grants.
• Coordinate work plans and timelines for state/federal grant submissions and reports.
• Provide resource information on grant types, requirements, and applying processes.
• Assist recipients in grant applications, offering writing and review support.
• Review submitted grants and assess eligibility based on criteria.
• Make recommendations to supervisors on needs of potential recipients.
• Analyze project costs and prepare budget justifications and revisions.
• Maintain files and prepare reports related to grant activities.
• Ensure grantees comply with grant conditions and regulatory requirements.
