Job summary

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency seeks a Grants Coordinator 1 to join the Division of Drinking and Ground Waters at the Central Office in downtown Columbus, Ohio. You will prepare, review, and process supplemental grant applications, manage email announcements, update grant agreements with DDAGW and IMS, and help set up grant accounting ledgers and reimbursement reviews.

Qualifications

  • 3 courses or 9 mos. exp. in contract & grant preparation or in proposal writing; AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in accounting.
  • OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process supplemental grant applications for DDAGW.
  • Handle email announcements before grant openings/closings.
  • Develop priority lists and selections of grants for awards – work with IMS to update and send out awards.
  • Set up grant accounting spreadsheet ledgers.
  • Review and approve reimbursement requests.
  • Help with funding sources and requirements.
  • Explain rules and regulations to ensure grant compliance.
