Qualifications

• Completion of undergraduate core program in geology, hydrogeology or other specialized geologic science; AND 24 mos. exp.
• OR completion of graduate core program in geology, hydrogeology or other specialized geologic science; AND 12 mos. exp.
• OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate groundwater sources near waste management facilities and review hydrogeologic reports.
• Investigate groundwater areas near waste sites to assess environmental impacts and compliance.
• Develop strategies for bringing about compliance, including enforcement referrals.
• Provide technical assistance on groundwater monitoring and protection to officials, consultants, and industry.
