GRANTS COORDINATOR

Job Location: 150 N. 18TH Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85007

Salary: $58,500

Grade: 21

Job Summary:

The Grant Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, reporting, and financial support for grant-funded programs, ensuring efficient and effective program operations and adherence to all applicable regulations and policies. Reporting to the Strategic Grants Administrator, this role manages grant files, documentation, databases, coordinates meetings, and maintains accurate financial records. The coordinator prepares and submits reports to funders, monitors budgets, processes transactions, and analyzes data to track outcomes. This position is funded through November 30, 2027.

This position may offer remote work within Arizona, based on department needs and performance.

Job Duties:
  • Provide administrative support, manage grant files, coordinate meetings, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with grant partners and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for grant inquiries and develop communication materials.
  • Prepare and submit reports, analyze data, and track grant outcomes.
  • Support budget development, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial compliance.
  • Ensure policy and regulatory compliance, conduct audits, and develop procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of grant management, community engagement, budgeting, and regulations. Skills in communication, organization, partnership development, data analysis, and proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite. Ability to support a diverse workforce, work independently and in teams, maintain records, develop relationships, interpret guidelines, and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and previous administrative or grant coordination experience preferred.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Driver’s license; successful completion of E-Verify.
