Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Grant Administrator to support administrative requirements for Addiction Medicine grants. You will help ensure grant compliance, monitor deadlines, and prepare interim and final reports.

responsibilities include coordinating grant submissions, identifying new funding sources, drafting communications, and updating patient records as needed for grant billing. This role reports to the Grants Administration team.

Qualifications

  • Education and communication skills required for grant administration.
  • Experience with grants or nonprofit funding is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monitoring and upkeep of grant requirements.
  • Prepare interim and final grant reports.
  • Coordinate timely submission of agency grants applications.
  • Identify, pursue and write new sources of grant revenue.
  • Draft external and internal communications (print or web).
  • Register and schedule patients per grant requirements.
  • Update patient insurance coverage/records for grant billing.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Short Description

This role supports administrative requirements and activities for Addiction Medicine grants.

It assists with ensuring grant compliance that is part of an effort to increase and sustain grant funding.

Assist with monitoring and upkeep of grant requirements

Prepare interim and final grant reports.

Keep management aware of grant opportunities and key deadlines.

Organize and compile appropriate data, draft text, and prepare grant applications and proposals for submission to governmental agencies, foundations, and corporations in a timely manner.

Coordinate and ensure the timely submission of agency private/foundation grants applications.

Identify, pursue and write new sources of both public and private grant revenue.

Write external and internal communications whether print (newsletters, annual reports, brochures, etc.) or web-based

Assist with special projects and complete other duties as assigned by the President and CEO.

Will be required to register and schedule patients per grant requirements.

Update patient insurance coverage/guarantor accounts per grant requirements.

Maintain and update patient registration records for grant billing purposes.

Experience Required

0-2 years grants experience

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree Required
