Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ seeks a Grant Program Coordinator to support Addiction Medicine and SUD initiatives across Cooper University Hospital and Cape Regional locations. Responsibilities

  • Managing ongoing projects and new initiatives within the Center for Healing's program portfolio from inception to completion
  • Ensuring grant deliverables are met according to funder contracts
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and community partners to enhance delivery of services and mentorship
  • Working with data analysts to develop data collection processes and ensure timely and accurate reports to funding agencies
  • Scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating trainings related to grant funded programs
  • Tracking grant expenditures and monitoring use of funds against the project budget
  • Identifying potential grant revenue opportunities aligned with program goals
  • Preparing grant applications and proposals for submissions to government, foundations and corporate entities
  • Leading and supervising staff on specific grants within the portfolio

Short Description

This position will support grant-funded Addiction Medicine and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) initiatives across Cooper University Hospital and Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional in Cape May County. The selected candidate will be based at the Cape Regional location several days per week and in Camden on the remaining days. Experience in addiction medicine, substance use disorder services, behavioral health, public health, or related fields is preferred.

The Center for Healing within Cooper University Health Care is a leading Addiction Medicine provider within Camden County and Southern New Jersey. This role will support the work of the Center for Healing by supporting grant-funded programs with the goal of expanding access to evidence-based care and supports. Day to day activities include:

  • Managing ongoing projects and new initiatives within the Center for Healing's program portfolio of varying degrees of complexity from inception to successful completion.
  • Ensuring grant deliverables are met according to funder contracts.
  • Working with stakeholders and community partners to enhance collaborative, successful delivery of services, and facilitate education, mentoring, collaboration, and networking.
  • Working with data analyst to develop data collection processes and ensure the submission of timely and accurate reports to funding agencies.
  • Scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating trainings related to grant funded programs.
  • Tracking all grant related expenditures and monitoring the use of grant funds against the approved project budget.
  • Identifying and sourcing potential grant revenue opportunities that match the goals of the Center for Healing.
  • Preparing grant applications and proposals for submission to government, foundation, and corporate entities.
  • Managing special projects including development of new projects.
  • Will lead work of their projects and may supervise staff working on specific grants within their portfolio.
