Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Grants and Contracts Officer to provide budgetary and administrative support for pre-award management of grant and contract proposals. You will assist investigators in identifying funding, prepare budgets, and manage electronic submissions.

The role involves drafting subagreements and related legal documents, acting as a liaison across departments, and producing regular budget-related reports. Strong knowledge of grants processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company
• 2 years experience
• Familiar with FAR, PHS policies and OMB Circulars A-122 and A-133
• Experience with electronic grant submissions via grants.gov and NSF Fastlane
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Assist Principal Investigators and staff in assessing funding opportunities and submitting applications/proposals for funds to governmental and non-profit entities
• Manage electronic grant submissions via grants.gov, NSF Fastlane, and foundations' web-based applications
• Budget preparation and financial planning for research and sponsored proposals
• Draft subagreements, CDA, MTA, Data Use, and other legal documents for awards
• Coordinate between Institute management, accounting, investigators, and external organizations
• Assist in annual budget processes and provide ad hoc reports
• Perform other duties as required by management
