Job summary

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign seeks a Grants and Contract Coordinator to lead the end-to-end administration of sponsored programs within ACES Extension. You will collaborate with PIs, fiscal staff, and SPA to ensure compliant budgets, forecasts, and funding closeouts.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and several years of grant pre- and post-award experience, plus keen knowledge of federal guidelines and university systems. Remote work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional grant pre- and post-award administration experience.
• Experience with federal grant processes in university, public, or similar settings.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial records with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with principal investigators and fiscal staff to manage funded projects and forecasts.
• Review funds for allowability and move unallowable charges to appropriate funding sources.
• Monitor sub-award agreements and budget modifications, and prepare related documentation.
• Prepare JVs and budgets for new funds and submit SF425s in EZFedGrants.
• Serve as liaison with SPA awards negotiators and campus offices.
