Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or science strongly preferred.
• Minimum degree in related field required with relevant experience.
• Experience with budgets, ledgers, invoices, and fiscal reporting preferred.
• Familiarity with sponsored program administration in a research environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Works with faculty and staff to prepare and submit grant applications to federal and private sources.
• Assists in annual reports and continuation applications.
• Serves as a resource to ensure award activities comply with terms and conditions.
• Attends grants management meetings and maintains relationships with internal/external agencies.
• Drafts proposal budgets and coordinates multi-investigator grants with moderate guidance.
• Prepares summaries of grants and effort allocations for PIs and responds to questions.
• Reviews applications against guidelines and drafts progress reports, amendments, and budgeting.
