The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Grants and Contracts Officer responsible for maintaining contact with researchers, project administrators, and external funding sources to support the development, review, and submission of grant and contract proposals, ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves extensive contract negotiation with funding sources.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, knowledge of PC applications, databases, and data analysis. A team-oriented attitude is essential, and a legal background is a plus.
Salary Range: $57,940 - $94,150
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Science, or related field, and five (5) years of related experience. Work experience cannot substitute for education.
