A leading university is seeking a Grants & Contracts Analyst to manage post-award responsibilities for various grants and contracts. This role includes proposal preparation, budget development, compliance oversight, and liaising with funding agencies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and budgeting experience, with a focus on ensuring the efficient functioning of sponsored funding.
We are seeking a Grants & Contracts Analyst to provide dedicated professional level sponsored funds management with primarily post-award responsibilities with limited pre-award responsibilities. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to proposal preparation, submission, budget development, account maintenance and oversight, billing/invoicing, reporting, compliance, and closeout. This position works independently on a variety of grants/contracts and clinical trials that range from simple to moderately complex. This role may assist with some aspects of non-sponsored funds, but the primary focus of this position is to ensure timely, effective and efficient functioning of sponsored funding. This role functions at an intermediate level, with responsibility for independent management of simple to moderately complex grants/contracts, including those from NIH, NSF, DOD, CFF. These grants, contracts and awards may involve detailed budgets, subawards and special instructions in RFA, career awards, training awards, multi-project grants, complex foundation grants, subawards from other institutions on their federal pass-through grants and pharmaceutical company sponsored clinical trials

Starting Salary Range: $53,800 - $94,400 Annually ($53,800 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
