Job summary

State of Idaho's Grants Administration in Boise is seeking a Grants/Contracts Management Supervisor to lead the CAPS team. You will oversee the full lifecycle of grants and contracts, from planning to evaluation, ensuring alignment with funding priorities and performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will bring supervisory experience, procurement know-how, and a collaborative leadership style. This on-site role includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to improve public services

Qualifications

Experience interpreting and applying laws, regulations, and policies.
Experience determining needs and priorities for operational planning and funding.
Experience planning and organizing service delivery programs.
Experience developing and administering grants or contracts including funding and evaluations.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight to the CAPS unit.
Guide staff through the full lifecycle of grant and contract development, including: planning, funding, administration, evaluation, service delivery.
Promote compliance and strategic alignment across the department through curated training and monthly alignment sessions.
Serve as a key contributor to bureau and division leadership teams.
Collaborate with department leadership, division partners, and external agencies.
Elevate CAPS team status as a trusted partner in DHW through customer centricity.
Identify and implement opportunities that improve operational efficiency.
Lead initiatives involving: funding priorities, metrics and reporting, process improvement.
