Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and 0–2 years of accounting experience (Level I).
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of accounting experience (Level II).
  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Accounting/Finance with extensive experience (Level III).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial reviews of sponsored agreements, including budget and project terms.
  • Update sponsored and cost‑share accounts in financial systems.
  • Process amendments to awards and budget reallocations; support interim and final reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports in accordance with sponsor terms and invoice sponsors as needed.
  • Bill and reconcile grant/contract receivables; manage federal fund draws.
  • Provide regulatory guidance on applicable laws and university policies to faculty and staff.
  • Maintain expertise on 2 CFR 200 and other sponsor requirements; participate in professional development.
  • Review cost transfers for proper recording and reporting.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in costing; maintain organized financial records.
  • Support grant closeout activities and final reporting; interact with researchers and administration.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
